KnockBook a call

The full version, for you.

What you've already seen on the homepage, and a bit more: what this looks like from the committee's side, day after day.

The committee's new-notice screen in Knock

You stop being the building's inbox.

  • A notice is posted once, and stays somewhere you can search.

  • No comments and no reactions underneath it. Nobody argues there at midnight.

  • A request for a spot gets settled between neighbours, without routing through you.

  • Everything that happens is logged, so a dispute arrives with a record rather than two versions.

How it lives with you

  • Committee mode lives inside the same app. No second desk, and no second tool to install.

  • Any module can be turned off on its own, per building, without a release. The building decides what Knock is for.

  • An append-only action log is the source of truth: the committee gets a live view and an exportable record, and every admin action is attributed to who did it.

  • Four queues in the app (approvals, reports, conflicts, announcements), each with an open and a closed state.

We set it up. You post the first notice.

The committee's first action is writing an announcement, not administering a system.

  1. We create the building and load the roster.

  2. We verify spot labels against the actual signage.

  3. Two admins trained, front desk briefed.

  4. We recruit the first households, so it isn't empty.

  5. A launch kit for the lobby and the group.

The “First Buildings” pilot

The exit clause, stated first: turn it off at any time, take your data and leave, and the WhatsApp group stays exactly as it is.

  • 90 days, free (or a nominal fee), with a stated end date up front.

  • We create the building and load the roster. The committee doesn't type anything.

  • We verify spot labels against the actual signage before launch.

  • Two admins trained, front desk briefed.

  • We recruit 5 to 20 seed households, so the app isn’t empty on day one.

  • A launch kit: a lobby notice, an elevator poster, and a ready-to-paste WhatsApp message.

  • Two weeks of front-desk-assisted signup for residents who need it.

  • A month-one summary you can put in front of the AGM.

In exchange, and asked for explicitly: a case study, a reference call with one other chair, and permission to publish the building’s numbers. Never a resident’s.

We're choosing our first buildings.

Knock is new, and we'd rather set up three buildings properly than thirty badly. So we run each pilot ourselves, end to end. The committee can turn it off at any time and take their data with them, and the WhatsApp group stays exactly as it is.
